Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, preparing high-quality dishes, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. The role offers an hourly rate of $18.00-$22.00.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare ingredients and set up station mise en place for service.
2. Execute menu items from start to finish, including preparation, butchery, cooking, and plating.
3. Cook dishes to order according to standards.
4. Maintain cleanliness and adhere to DOH standards.
5. Participate in cooking family meals.
6. Handle, store, and rotate products properly.
7. Close the kitchen following the checklist and assist in closing procedures.
8. Develop and maintain understanding of cooking techniques.
9. Maintain cleanliness of BOH work areas.
10. Contribute to menu development and new item preparation.
11. Support team members and foster a positive work environment.
12. Demonstrate excellent knife skills and knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.
13. Experience on multiple kitchen stations.
14. Ability to lift 25 lbs or more.
15. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
16. 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
