Job summary

Miss Saigon, a vibrant Vietnamese restaurant in Downtown, is seeking a Line Cook and Kitchen Prep to join our team. You will prep, cook, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

You should have 1–2 years of line cook experience, knowledge of food safety, and a strong team spirit. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required.

Miss Saigon, a vibrant and authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Downtown, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Line Cook and Kitchen Prep to join our team! If you have a love for preparing fresh, high-quality food and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Miss Saigon's recipes and quality standards
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all food products in compliance with food safety regulations
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service begins
• Work efficiently under pressure during busy lunch and dinner services while maintaining a clean and organized station
• Assist with daily prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and other ingredients
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes are prepared with care and delivered on time
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment throughout the shift
• Follow all sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar role (experience with Vietnamese cuisine is a plus but not required)
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively during service
• Availability for shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays
