Job summary

Harry's Grille & Tavern in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to inspire, coach, and develop the team while delivering outstanding guest service. The role sets clear direction, maintains standards, and leads by example on every shift.

The AGMs success hinges on problem-solving, positive leadership, and a commitment to hospitality excellence. You will oversee FOH operations, ensure health and AB C compliance, coach staff, manage staffing and costs, and partner with leadership

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Restaurant Management is preferred.
• 4+ years Restaurant Service/Bartending Experience (Fine Dining Preferred).
• 2+ years Restaurant Management Experience (Full Service Bar & Restaurant Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the Front of the House team to achieve restaurant goals.
• Monitor procedures to ensure NC Health Department food safety.
• Monitor procedures related to NC Alcohol Beverage Control regulations.
• Review operations to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver a high level of service to create a positive guest experience.
• Coach and assess staff performance on an ongoing basis.
• Manage and motivate team through positive leadership.
• Maintain staffing levels and staff development.
• Develop rapport with guests and solicit feedback.
• Drive sales growth via local restaurant marketing initiatives.
• Assist in attaining P&L goals and manage daily expenses.
