Job summary

Yukon Refrigeration, a Tech24 Company, is seeking a Restaurant Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to drive to customer sites and troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment. You will work independently, applying strong technical and customer-service skills to complete service tickets and ensure timely repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen equipment.
• Inspects commercial kitchen equipment and related components to ensure safe operation.
• Communicates with customer and branch staff regarding status of repairs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are communicated.
• Completes service tickets according to procedures.
• Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
• Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate.
• Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.

The Restaurant Kitchen Equipment Service Technician is responsible for driving a company vehicle to and from customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment. To be a successful Restaurant Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you should work independently and solve problems efficiently. Strong technical skills, troubleshooting expertise, and expert customer service are essential.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to work some nights, weekends, and holidays for on‑call rotation (frequency varies with department size).
• Mechanically inclined with a hunger to learn new techniques and approaches.
