Job summary

Cotti Foods Maintenance Inc is hiring a Full Time HVAC-R Technician to maintain restaurant equipment across the San Diego area, including fryers, grills, walk-in units and refrigeration systems. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and participate in preventative maintenance while coordinating with restaurant operations.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Type II License preferred; EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Technical/trade certifications (e.g., CFESA) preferred.
• 2+ years in equipment repair, kitchen equipment or HVAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a work schedule to minimize impact on restaurant operations.
• Estimate time and cost of repairs and equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
• Prioritize and complete repairs promptly.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replacements on equipment and systems (HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Respond to emergency service calls for repair.
• Follow preventative maintenance procedures as defined by company.
