Chick-fil-A in Des Moines, IA is hiring an HR Director to oversee all human resources operations for the store. This role supports a servant leadership culture, drives recruitment, onboarding, payroll accuracy, training, benefits administration and compliance, and partners with Marketing on community initiatives.

The HR Director will lead hiring, conduct orientations, manage W-2 forms, and coach Front of House and Back of House teams to align with Chick-fil-A policies and service standards.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract talent.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and payroll data.
• Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires and ongoing training for staff.
• Coordinate training for FOH and BOH teams and conduct 30-day evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting plans to hire qualified staff for the restaurant.
• Maintain compliant employee records and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Manage uniform ordering and distribution to staff and oversee benefits administration.
• Lead W-2 distribution, healthcare administration, unemployment insurance and child support processes.
• Conduct new-hire orientations and ongoing coaching for team members.
• Organize team celebrations and support a positive work environment.
