Job summary

Chick-fil-A S. Clearview is seeking a Human Resources Director to serve as the People Executive on the restaurant's senior leadership team. This role owns the employee lifecycle from recruiting to culture, partnering with Owners and Executives to drive people-first outcomes.

The ideal leader is organized, relational, decisive, and deeply invested in Chick-fil-A's values, with strong operation tie-ins and readiness to participate in daily restaurant needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous Human Resources, People Operations, Employee Relations, Talent, or comparable people-focused experience.
  • Experience interviewing, onboarding, coaching, or developing employees.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices, documentation, and HR compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently.
  • Self-starter who can confidently make decisions and execute without requiring significant oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across a diverse, multigenerational team.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, approachable, and confident communication style.
  • Willingness to actively participate in restaurant operations.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and close at least one night each week.

Responsibilities

  • Own the People function for a high-volume Chick-fil-A restaurant and help cultivate a positive, people-first culture.
  • Lead recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes for new Team Members.
  • Maintain accurate employee documentation and ensure compliance with applicable employment policies and requirements.
  • Oversee employee relations processes, including coaching, accountability, and disciplinary documentation.
  • Develop and continuously improve training plans for both Front of House and Back of House Team Members.
  • Build meaningful relationships across a diverse team and maintain a strong pulse on Team Member engagement and culture.
  • Partner with restaurant leadership to identify, develop, and retain future leaders.
  • Coordinate Team Member recognition, birthdays, anniversaries, and quarterly team events.
  • Maintain organized and accurate HR and payroll-related processes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Owner/Operator, Hospitality Executive, Production Executive, and other restaurant leaders.
  • Independently make decisions within the People function and confidently move initiatives forward.
  • Model humility and servant leadership by stepping into the operation wherever the team needs support.
  • Help Win Hearts All Day, Every Day by creating an environment where Team Members feel known, supported, challenged, and valued.

We are looking for a Human Resources Director to serve as the People Executive to join the Executive Team at Chick-fil-A S. Clearview. This is an opportunity for a people-focused leader to take true ownership of the employee experience within a high-volume, $10M+ restaurant. The People Executive will lead the systems and processes that support the team throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding to training, development, employee relations, documentation, and culture.

This leader will serve as a trusted partner to the Owner/Operator and fellow Executives while maintaining a strong pulse on a diverse team. The right person is organized, confident, relational, and able to independently make decisions and turn ideas into action.

This is not a behind-the-desk HR position. The People Executive is an active member of the restaurant's senior leadership team and will remain connected to the operation, Team Members, and day-to-day needs of the business.
