Wild Dunes Resort, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, seeks a Host/Greeter to be the first point of contact for guests dining at our restaurants. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and escort guests to tables while coordinating with servers and managers to ensure smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Formación

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first attitude.
• Professional appearance and ability to represent the Wild Dunes Resort service culture.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously as they arrive.
• Manage reservations, wait lists, and guest flow using seating charts or reservation systems.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations.
• Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and providing information about restaurant hours and offerings.
• Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth service and efficient table turns.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, and entryway.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Support the Food & Beverage team as needed to enhance the overall dining experience.

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Food & Beverage team at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, just outside of Charleston, SC.

Position Overview

The Host/Greeter serves as the first point of contact for guests dining at Wild Dunes Resort’s restaurants. This role is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment, managing reservations and seating, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations. The Host/Greeter ensures a positive guest experience from arrival to departure while representing the resort with professionalism and genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first attitude.
• Professional appearance and ability to represent the Wild Dunes Resort service culture.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge preferred.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Front-of-house restaurant environment with direct guest contact.
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time required.
• Ability to work varying schedules to meet business needs.
