Job summary

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa is looking for a passionate Host/ess who will provide a warm welcome and farewell to guests. This role requires managing reservations, supporting restaurant functions, and ensuring a flawless guest experience.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of related experience, a Maricopa County Food Handlers Card, and knowledge in health and wellness. Willingness to work various shifts including weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience as Host/ess, Server Assistant or related Food & Beverage experience.
• Current Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome and fond farewell to all guests.
• Support all functions in the restaurants and dining areas.
• Oversee reservations, flow of the floor, and menus.
• Act as an extension of the Server to ensure flawless guest experience.

Ideal candidates

We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and wellness, and an excitement for hospitality.

Availability all days, including weekends and holidays, is required for scheduling purposes between these times.

As a Host/ess you will be responsible for

• Providing a warm welcome and fond farewell to all guests
• Support all functions in the restaurants and other areas where guest dining occurs
• Overseeing reservations, flow of the floor, walk-in guests, floor plans, menus and all other primary functions
• Acts as an extension of the Server in all capacities and focus is supporting to ensure the guests experience is flawless

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience as Host/ess, Server Assistant or any related Food & Beverage experience
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred
• Willing and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Current Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Knowledge/passion in Health & Wellness
