Job summary

Hyatt Centric Key West Resort and Spa in Key West, FL is looking for a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage reservations, and seat guests with grace. This role also supports In-Room Dining by taking orders and coordinating tray delivery, ensuring a memorable hospitality experience.

You will be the first and last impression guests have, delivering personalized service and helping maintain smooth restaurant flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess in full-service, resort, or fine-dining setting preferred.
• Ability to work 4:30PM–9:30PM evening shifts consistently.
• Weekend and holiday shifts are required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, composed, and guest-focused demeanor.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and manage fast-paced restaurant flow.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations and seating with efficiency and grace.
• Set the tone as the first impression of the dining experience.
• Oversee the host stand and support In-Room Dining operations by taking orders and coordinating tray delivery.

Four Flamingos showcases bold, fresh Florida flavors with stunning ocean views and the vibrant spirit of Key West. We are seeking a warm, polished, and service-driven Host to be the first impression of our restaurant experience.

As a Host, you set the tone from the moment guests arrive. You’ll warmly welcome each guest, manage reservations and seating with efficiency and grace, and create a seamless, attentive experience that reflects our commitment to exceptional hospitality.

In addition to overseeing the host stand, this role also supports our In-Room Dining operation — taking guest orders, preparing and coordinating trays, and delivering orders with professionalism and care to ensure a memorable in-room experience.

This is more than a greeting role — it’s about creating exceptional first impressions, delivering personalized service, and ensuring every guest feels valued from arrival to departure.
