Thompson Houston is recruiting for Restaurant Hosts to join our hotel team at a new destination restaurant within Thompson Houston Hotel. This position is available to start immediately. The venue features a 3-meal dining concept, including a 1-acre pool deck, luxury cabanas, private event spaces, and indoor-outdoor dining with views of downtown. Managed by Thompson Houston Hotel and Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests warmly and managing table assignments.
• Providing menu recommendations and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Leading and supporting other hosts, coordinating seating strategies, and resolving guest concerns.
• Maintaining knowledge of the menu and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Desire to satisfy guests' needs, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Texas Food Handler’s Card and TABC certification.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; 1+ year of F&B supervisory experience preferred.
• Upscale beverage knowledge is a plus.
