Job summary

Black Bear Diner is seeking a General Manager in West Wendover to lead daily operations, supervise a restaurant team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will manage staffing, training, and performance while upholding safety and brand standards in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or equivalent leadership role preferred.
• Full-service, casual dining, or high-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading, developing, and retaining restaurant teams.
• Demonstrated success managing sales, labor, food costs, and overall restaurant profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead team leadership and development to build a strong, guest-focused environment.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high standards for food quality and ambiance.
• Oversee all daily restaurant operations (front-of-house and back-of-house) and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Monitor financial performance, including sales, labor, costs, and profitability; drive action plans to improve results.
• Execute local marketing and community engagement to grow traffic and repeat business.
• Maintain brand standards, audits, and proper training across the team.
