Black Bear Diner is seeking a General Manager in West Wendover, NV to lead a high-volume dining operation. You will coach and develop a strong team, ensure outstanding guest experiences, and drive financial performance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing all restaurant activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and building local relationships to boost traffic and profitability. A hands-on leader with strong communication is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or equivalent leadership role preferred.
• Full-service, casual dining, or high-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading, developing, and retaining restaurant teams.
• Demonstrated success managing sales, labor, food costs, and overall restaurant profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop restaurant team and management staff.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high standards for food quality and cleanliness.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations including front-of-house and back-of-house.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, labor costs, and cash controls to meet financial targets.
• Drive local marketing and community engagement to boost visits and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards and complete audits.
