Job summary

APPLEGREEN USA CENTRAL SERVICES LLC is actively seeking a Restaurant General Manager for a Burger King location in South Carolina. The GM leads daily restaurant operations, drives profitability, and develops a high-performance team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, P&L acumen, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. You will collaborate with the District Manager and oversee staffing, operations, and community engagement to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
• Frequent standing for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of a single restaurant.
• Accountable for restaurant profit and loss and drive toward financial goals.
• Drive sales through proactive guest service, people development and operations management.
• Motivate and direct team to exceed guest expectations with friendly, fast service.
• Address guest issues promptly and develop local marketing initiatives.
• Engage community to attract prospective guests and promote the brand.
• Recognize and coach staff to improve performance.
• Manage labor and scheduling for optimal staffing.
• Enforce government regulations, employment laws and company policies.
• Perform duties of the Assistant Manager and Shift Supervisor when needed.
