Job summary

Rackson Restaurants, LLC is seeking a driven Restaurant General Manager in New York to oversee all restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, lead staff, and manage financial performance. You will recruit, train, and develop leaders, protect brand standards, and optimize costs to support growth.

Expect a busy, hands-on role with strong emphasis on people and profitability. The position requires 50+ hours per week, robust leadership, and the ability to handle high-pressure service periods

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager / General Manager in a customer service environment with P&L experience.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication in English; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains restaurant-level employees, ensuring brand standards and labor law compliance.
• Manages staffing levels, recruits talent, and develops internal candidates for management positions.
• Maintains brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to food safety requirements.
• Analyzes operational and financial performance and implements action plans for sales growth.
• Oversees cash handling procedures and budget goals; drives guest satisfaction and profitability.
