Job summary

Waldorf Restaurant Group in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a fast-paced operation, driving profitability, guest satisfaction, and a positive, safe work environment.

The RGM will supervise all store operations, manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and coaching for performance. You will partner with marketing on promotions and ensure health & safety standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior restaurant management experience.
• Experience supervising staff across shifts with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong background in POS systems, inventory control, and cash handling.
• Proven track record in driving sales growth and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store operations, including sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and cash handling.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing orientation and ongoing training.
• Manage scheduling and shift coverage to ensure optimal staffing during peak hours and promotions.
• Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives to maximize sales.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and payroll records while ensuring policy compliance.
• Lead inventory management to prevent shortages or overstock, and ensure safety procedures.
• Directly manage staff across shifts and motivate through team meetings and feedback.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and guest service standards across the restaurant.
