Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is assisting in the search for a General Manager in Greensboro, GA. The role leads a growing Italian kitchen focused on hospitality and operational excellence, with ownership of P&L, budgeting, and cost controls.

You will manage approximately 60 employees across FOH and BOH, drive accountability, and sustain guest satisfaction in a family‑oriented restaurant culture. Relocation or local candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years proven General Manager experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant environment.
• Direct ownership of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability controls.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in food and beverage COGS, labor cost management, and inventory reporting.
• Experience implementing inventory systems and cost controls, including recipe costing and waste reduction.
• Proficient in labor scheduling, productivity analysis, and payroll control, aiming to reduce food and labor costs toward 25%.
• Proven ability to create and enforce SOPs, staff training, communication protocols, and management accountability systems.
• Hands-on leadership managing approximately 60 employees, with the ability to lead both FOH and BOH operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations including financial performance, staffing, inventory, and guest experience.
• Develop and implement systems to improve accountability, operational efficiency, and cost controls.
• Collaborate closely with Chef and Bar Manager to maintain high-quality food and beverage standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 60 employees to deliver authentic hospitality.
• Build lasting guest relationships through genuine, personable service and a strong floor presence.
• Serve as the independent operator, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions during owner travel.
