Job summary

True Food Kitchen in Houston, TX seeks an experienced restaurant manager to lead FOH and BOH operations, ensuring high-quality dining experiences and adherence to brand standards. You will oversee hiring, scheduling, training, and daily performance to maximize guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong financial acumen, managing P&L, inventory, and controllable costs, while guiding a diverse team through service periods and maintaining safety and health compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a manager in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Strong financial acumen with operating budgets and cost controls.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills with ability to develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales and profits through P&L management, inventory control and controllable cash flow.
• Lead high-volume service periods on the floor or expo to ensure food quality, service and presentation meet standards.
• Coordinate with BOH to ensure health and safety inspections and compliant operations.
• Oversee interviewing, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, labor costs, training and development of employees; guide and evaluate performance.
• Champion development of management and hourly team members.
