Job summary

Taco Bell in Groves, TX is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to profitably operate the store in line with Taco Bell’s practices. You will oversee cost control, customer service, and building sales while guiding and developing team members.

You will train staff, schedule labor, monitor inventory, and ensure health and safety standards are met. The role requires leadership, open availability, and a focus on consistent brand image in a busy fast-food environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; University degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be Serv Safe Certified
• Knowledge of P & L statements; basic math and computer skills; strong customer service skills
• Strong skills in the areas of Communication, Leadership, and Conflict resolution
• Requires open availability

Responsibilities

• Front counter duties to ensure quality service and handle customer complaints
• Conduct meetings with team for planning, training, and reviewing operations/management procedures and policies
• Develops and maintains an acceptable level of sales; utilizes local store marketing
• Monitors utilities, supplies, and other cost categories to minimize impact; analyzes profits and losses
• Use company approved labor guidelines; develop and post labor schedules; adjusts labor to changes in sales volume
• Manages restaurant cash control by making bank deposits daily; follows cash handling procedures
• Ensure safety and health standards; maintain professional restaurant and team image
• Keeps Area Coach informed of hiring, promotions, and changes in employee status; processes payroll
• Conducts performance reviews and disciplinary actions; maintains personnel files
• Utilizes preventive maintenance systems and attends meetings for planning and training
• Performs all administrative paperwork
