Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a General Manager in Illinois to oversee restaurant operations, drive hospitality, and lead a team of managers and staff. The role focuses on delivering outstanding guest experiences while meeting financial goals and maintaining Capstone's values: People, Hospitality, and Integrity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years management experience in a quick service/fast food dining concept.
• Financial/Analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire staff, and maintain a bench for future growth.
• Ensure all marketing plans are executed, including proper installation of POP and menu board elements.
• Ensure restaurant is staffed properly and Team Members are properly trained to do their jobs through training programs.
• Ensure the restaurant is open and fully operational during Business Hours as defined by the District Manager, Regional Director of Operations, and Operating Partner.
• Provide leadership by creating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment to company objectives.
• Ensure inventory levels and all equipment are maintained in excellent condition through approved vendors.
• Set an example by maintaining knowledge and proficiency in restaurant operations and technology.
• Supervise in accordance with policies in the operations standards manual.
• Develop and motivate Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to perform at their best.
• Review preliminary P/Ls and coordinate with the District Manager.
• Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety and security policies to ensure a safe environment.
