KBP Brands, via its KFC brand, is seeking an Assistant General Manager in a fast-paced restaurant setting in Maine. You will lead and coach staff, drive great guest experiences, and manage daily operations including inventory and cash handling to ensure profitability.

The role offers growth opportunities within the KBP Foods organization, with emphasis on leadership development, training, and internal mobility. You will work onsite, supporting standards for food quality, safety, and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year as Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects, stand/walk for long shifts, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach team to create a positive work environment.
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues quickly.
• Oversee daily operations including inventory, cash handling, and policy compliance.
• Maintain KFC standards for food quality, prep, and presentation.
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards for guests and employees.
• Manage labor and food costs to maximize profitability.
• Anticipate and resolve shift challenges as they arise.
