Job summary

Charter Foods seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead the team, set the tone of the work environment, and ensure exceptional hospitality and quality food at all times. You will hire, develop and train staff, run new hire orientation, schedule correctly, address performance issues, and oversee the restaurant budget and financial plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team that delivers great food and a friendly experience.
• Find, hire and develop employees; conduct new hire orientation and train each new hire.
• Schedule and deploy the team, address performance issues, and resolve customer issues.
• Manage the restaurant budget and financial plans.
• Lead with strong leadership and communication, and foster a positive attitude.
