Rackson is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Groton, CT to oversee all restaurant operations, lead staff, manage the P&L, and enhance guest experience. The role requires strong leadership, English communication, and a willingness to learn all facets of restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience.
• Communication in English is required; Spanish comprehension helpful.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager / General Manager with P&L experience.
• Strong leadership skills and professional demeanor under pressure.
• Ability to manage confidential information and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage metrics, product specs, and management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains restaurant-level employees, ensuring brand standards and labor law compliance.
• Manages staffing levels, recruits talent, and develops internal candidates for management positions.
• Maintains brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and food safety adherence.
• Analyzes operational and financial performance, identifies trends, and implements action plans for sales growth.
• Ensures cash handling procedures are followed and budgets are adhered to.
• Plans and executes shift operations with cost control and teamwork.
• Coordinates operations including staffing, inventory, and administrative duties.
• Responds to guest inquiries and resolves complaints to ensure satisfaction.
