Job summary

WKS Restaurant Group is seeking a General Manager for the Denny’s brand to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead a team, and ensure service, safety, and brand standards are met. You will manage staffing, training, schedule, and adherence to financial targets in a full-service setting.

The role requires strong leadership, guest service focus, and expertise in budgeting, inventory, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Flexibility in hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant setting.
• ServSafe certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with cash handling and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop restaurant team through onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Oversee scheduling, inventory, ordering, payroll, and equipment checks.
• Drive guest service excellence with training and service standards.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance to meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and documentation requirements.
