Job summary

World Wide Wings is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for the Springfield, IL unit to lead operations, drive guest satisfaction, and develop a strong team. You will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and upholding brand standards to maximize sales and profitability.

The role requires at least 2 years of restaurant or retail management, a high school education or equivalent, and a certification in Buffalo Wild Wings Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience; experience managing a restaurant with a full bar is preferred.
• High school education or equivalent; valid driver’s license to travel between units; satisfactory background check; ability to meet physical demands as described.
• Successful completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the manager schedule to ensure proper business coverage according to World Wide Wings guidelines.
• Oversee human resource management, ensuring compliance with laws, company policies and procedures.
• Provide performance feedback and recognition to all managers and team members on an ongoing basis.
• Conduct weekly manager meetings with a written agenda and ensure effective pre-shift meetings.
• Maintain turnover and retention targets and build positive morale and a fun work environment.
