Job summary

QDOBA in Reno, NV is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations with a focus on guest service, food safety, and team development. You will drive sales, oversee catering growth, and ensure quality and hospitality across shifts.

The role requires 5+ years hospitality experience, 3+ years management, HS diploma (hospitality degree a plus), and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; uniforms provided, meal discounts, paid vacation, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or a related degree/certification in hospitality management is a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
• Familiarity with local health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to employee management and scheduling.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the location of the restaurant.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Valid food handler’s certification and other local certifications may be required.
• 5+ years of hospitality-related experience.
• 3+ years of restaurant manager or leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitality.
• Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs.
• Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales.
• Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures.
• Work with the leadership team to meet sales goals.
• Manage food and labor costs.
• Execute company policies and procedures.
• Monitor food inventory levels and order product when necessary.
• Manage and maintain safe working conditions.
• Manage crew member employees to reduce turnover and grow with the company.
• Interview and hire team members.
• Provide proper training for team members.
• Anticipate and identify problems and initiate corrective action.
• Ensure continual improvement of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• All other assigned task.
