The GM drives customer satisfaction by maintaining standards and resolving issues promptly. The role requires at least 2 years in restaurant management (QSR preferred), strong leadership, and knowledge of labor laws.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields are preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred), experience running shifts without supervision
• Workweek includes 5 days with 4 closing shifts (or 4 days with guaranteed hours) including irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations
• Leadership and supervisory skills; strong verbal and written communication
• Basic accounting and computer skills
• Ability to follow directions and work autonomously; multi-task and problem-solve
• Strong problem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
• Willingness to adhere to SONIC appearance, uniform and hygiene standards

Aufgaben

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/ Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet operational standards
• Adheres to and monitors employee compliance with the drive-in handbook, policies and practices
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
• Prepares employee work schedules; adjusts staffing levels as needed
• Monitors and maintains inventory; places orders within cost control procedures
• Completes and maintains all employee records and payroll records
• Reinforces customer service mindset and focuses on serving the customer at all times
• Resolves guest requests and reports complaints to supervisor for resolution
• Interviews and hires restaurant crew and management to achieve proper staffing
• Prepares operational reports; develops action plans to address unfavorable financial/sales trends
• Develops and implements marketing plans
