Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete all training requirements, including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan, Operations Excellence Capstone, Food Safety, and Manager Certifications.
- Ensure delivery of great guest experiences.
- Maintain appropriate staffing through sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top performers.
- Provide ongoing training, mentoring, coaching, and performance accountability.
- Create effective work schedules to drive sales and manage labor costs.
- Plan and delegate shift assignments, communicate expectations, and adjust as needed.
- Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
- Foster a positive culture and healthy team morale through leadership by example.
- Manage profitability by driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring operational standards.
- Build community relationships to increase sales and provide outstanding service.
- Control costs, maintain compliance with all policies and laws, and review performance metrics regularly.
- Handle guest and team member concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure safety guidelines are followed and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Perform other duties necessary for restaurant operation.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Open availability, able to work at least 5 days and 48 hours weekly, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful background and motor vehicle checks.
- Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and cooperative interaction skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 3-5 years management experience; restaurant management preferred.
Capability Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Use hands and wrists effectively; communicate clearly.
- Work safely around hot and cold environments and food allergens.
- Operate restaurant equipment safely.
