Job Description

The General Manager is responsible for delivering 4-diamond service in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of approximately 50 associates with support from the Director of Food & Beverage, Assistant Director, and two managers.
• Maintain food and beverage standards to ensure a consistent guest experience, adhering to Omni Hotels' standards and guidelines.
• Ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operations in the outlets, including purchasing supplies and recording relevant data.
• Maintain a motivated and well-trained staff committed to excellence in service.
• Monitor and control labor costs to meet targets.
• Manage outlet turnover effectively.
• Coordinate and communicate with other internal departments.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Inspect outlets regularly to ensure cleanliness and a high-quality environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Director.
• Engage actively with guests and hotel staff.
• Encourage staff to create personalized "WOW" moments for guests.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management experience in Food & Beverage, preferably in a luxury 4-diamond hotel.
• Proven success in managing upscale Food & Beverage operations, with strong front-of-house skills.
• Experience with forecasting, cost control, and scheduling.
• Leadership skills that promote employee growth, teamwork, and exceptional service.
• Dynamic and creative leadership style, capable of multitasking and troubleshooting.
• Detail-oriented with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Micros POS experience preferred. Experience with payroll management.
• Bachelor's degree or higher education (minimum 2 years).
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• TIPS certification preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
