Job summary

Wingstop in California is seeking a hands-on General Manager to develop a strong team and deliver consistently excellent restaurant operations, focusing on training employees, developing shift managers, and improving guest experience.

You will lead busy shifts, manage labor, food quality, cleanliness, and safety while coordinating with central support teams on recruiting, onboarding, marketing, HR and compliance to drive store performance.

Qualifications

• Strong training, coaching and leadership skills.
• Experience in restaurant operations and staff development.
• Ability to manage labor, scheduling, inventory, and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop shift managers and team members.
• Build a self-sufficient team with minimal oversight.
• Manage speed of service, order accuracy, food quality and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor daily labor and adjust staffing based on sales and business needs.
• Create effective employee schedules supporting service and labor goals.
• Lead busy shifts and ensure stations are properly staffed.
• Maintain Wingstop QSC standards for cleanliness, safety and quality.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, waste and food-cost controls.
• Respond to guest concerns and use feedback to improve restaurant performance.
• Complete weekly reports and HR/safety/compliance reporting.
• Develop dependable shift managers who can lead successful shifts.
