Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in the Pocono region seeks a General Manager for Double Cut Steak House to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role directs teams, budgets, and a premium dining program within a high-volume resort.

You will drive service excellence, optimize P&L, and foster growth from within while maintaining wine-conscious standards in a premier steakhouse environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of steakhouse experience
• At least 3 years in a food and beverage management role in a full-service, high-volume setting
• Significant wine knowledge
• Experience with systems, training, and P&L review
• Preferred: 2+ years related experience including craft cocktails

Now Hiring: General Manager – Double Cut Steak house

In this role, you will lead daily operations, develop and inspire your team, and deliver outstanding guest experiences while driving service excellence, financial performance, and operational success. Located within a high-volume resort, Double Cut is a premier steakhouse and liquor bar known for its upscale dining experience and vibrant atmosphere.

What You’ll Do:

• Operational Leadership & Efficiency – Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, adherence to policies, food safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Team Management & Development – Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate staff while fostering a positive workplace culture that drives performance and retention.
• Financial Performance & Compliance – Manage budgets, control costs (labor, inventory, food & beverage), analyze P&L statements, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• We do require that you have a background consisting of 3 years of steakhouse experience.
• At least 3 years in a food and beverage management role in a full-service, high-volume restaurant or multi-unit restaurant.
• Must have significant wine knowledge.
• Experience with systems, consistent and evolving training, and P&L review.
• It’s preferred that you have at least 2 years of directly related experience, including experience with craft cocktails.
