Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for Cinco Nino’s Tex Mex concept. Lead a high-energy team, drive guest satisfaction, and manage daily restaurant operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in front-of-house roles, strong P&L and budgeting experience, and familiarity with POS systems and scheduling tools. This role begins mid-August to September and offers competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Background in general food and beverage knowledge with 4+ years in front-of-house/management roles in hotels, resorts, or large chains.

Cinco Nino’s - Restaurant General Manager

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead our Cinco Nino’s Tex Mex Cuisine concept, bringing energy, heart, and a passion for hospitality to inspire your team and create memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back.

Salary Range - $75,000k - $90,000k with the opportunity to earn a quarterly performance-based bonus based on individual and business performance.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, lead and develop a high-performing team, drive financial and operational results, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door.

This position is scheduled to begin in mid-August through September.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Lead, train, and develop associates to support engagement, performance, and retention.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with resort leadership to align the outlet’s vision with overall guest experience goals.

What We’re Looking For

• We do require a background of general food and beverage knowledge, including at least four years of front-of-house operations and/or management positions in a hotel, resort, family owned-operation or large chain (such as Cheesecake Factory, Chick-fil-A, Olive Garden, Starbucks, Sweetgreen).
• Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and controlling labor/food costs.
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, inventory tools, and reporting dashboards.
• In many outlets, experience managing a bar will be required.
• History of managing operations of $3M or more annually.
