POSITION SUMMARY:

The perfect Restaurant General Manager at Qdoba is a confident decision-maker with proven experience in guest/customer service, employee management, business and financial management, and people motivation. They are excellent communicators—both in writing and verbally. As the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Focusing on your people by creating a culture of high employee retention and full staffing
2. Managing crew members to encourage growth and reduce turnover
3. Interviewing and hiring team members

5. Training, monitoring, and reinforcing food safety procedures
6. Building sales through delicious food, exceptional hospitality, and a clean restaurant and kitchen
7. Maintaining fast, accurate service and providing excellent customer service
8. Ensuring continual improvement in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
9. Leading your business effectively
10. Maximizing store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs

QUALIFICATIONS

Legal Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old to comply with state and federal laws.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 5+ years in QSR with 2+ years in a leadership role.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Effective verbal and written communication. Highly motivated and organized. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior. Able to take direction from higher-level staff. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to recruit, hire, coach, train, and motivate employees. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment and cases weighing approximately 10-50 lbs. Clear speech and hearing are necessary for communication. Ability to operate a computer, including desktops and tablets.
