MarcJax in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume QSR operation. You will own the P&L, guest experience, and development of a large team, including 40+ crew members and a growing leadership bench.

You will drive speed of service, maintain audit-ready standards, and protect the brand while delivering exceptional guest experiences to fuel growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Restaurant General Manager experience in a high-volume QSR.
• Experience managing 40+ crew members.
• Strong ability to interpret P&L data and hit cost targets.

Responsibilities

• Own the total success of the restaurant, including guest experience and growth of your people.

The Role: What You’ll Do

You are responsible for the total success of the restaurant. You own the P&L, the guest experience, and the growth of your people.

• Drive the Rush: Manage high-volume dayparts with a focus on "Gold Standard" speed-of-service and order accuracy.
• Master the P&L: Take full accountability for food costs, labor optimization, and inventory. You’ll analyze weekly data to ensure the store is running at peak profitability.
• Develop a Winning Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a crew of 40+. Your goal is to build a deep bench of Shift Leads and Assistant Managers ready for their next step.
• Guard the Brand: Ensure 100% compliance with global food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Guest Obsession: Proactively resolve guest feedback and ensure every customer leaves with a reason to come back.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: 2+ years of Restaurant General Manager experience in a high-volume QSR environment (Burger/Drive-Thru experience is highly preferred).
• The "Hustle" Factor: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead from the front—you’re on the floor when the rush hits.
• Financial Savvy: Strong ability to interpret P&L data and implement course corrections to hit aggressive labor and COGS targets.
