Capriotti's Sandwich Shop in Colorado Springs is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead our busy shop. You’ll drive daily operations, coach staff, and own profit and loss while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a restaurant, retail, or QSR location with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Comfort with P&L, labor management, and basic reporting/POS systems.
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and hands-on during busy rushes.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team: hire, train, coach, and schedule a crew that wants to come to work.
• Own the numbers: manage labor, COGS, cash, and P&L to hit targets while maintaining guest experience.
• Own the guest experience: ensure food quality, cleanliness, and service align with Capriotti's standards.
• Drive local sales: run local shop marketing and build relationships in the Colorado Springs community.
• Solve problems in real time: be the go-to decision maker for the team.

What You Bring

• Prior experience managing a restaurant, retail, or QSR location (leading a team, not just working shifts)
• Comfort with P&L, labor management, and basic reporting/POS systems
• The ability to stay calm, organized, and hands-on during a busy rush
• A genuine "roll up your sleeves" attitude — this is an active, on-your-feet leadership role

The Physical Side (So There Are No Surprises)

• Comfortable working near ovens/coolers (ranging from freezing to hot kitchen conditions)
• On your feet and moving around the shop for most of your shift
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. occasionally
