Job summary

Capriotti's Sandwich Shop in Colorado Springs, CO is hiring a Shift Lead to run a fast-paced kitchen and serve great food. You’ll delegate duties, supervise team members, manage inventory, and ensure safety and quality throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Delegate duties and assign tasks to team members for guest readiness.
• Recognize and reinforce team accomplishments to maintain morale.
• Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines.
• Adhere to Capriotti's procedures, cash handling, sanitation, and safety.
• Assist with labor management costs.
• Demonstrate integrity and promote Capriotti's values and culture.
• Ensure proficiency across shop operations during shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas including dining, restrooms, grills, and prep stations.
• Work as a team to prepare for each shift.
• Manage time effectively while fulfilling responsibilities.
• Maintain a positive work environment for staff and guests.

What You’ll Do as a Shift Lead

Sharing our passion one sandwich at a time starts and ends with you. As a Shift Lead, you’ll create amazing guest experiences while preparing our award-winning sandwiches.

• Delegate duties and fairly assign specific tasks to ensure Team Members are prepared for our guests.
• Contributes to a team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments.
• Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines.
• Follows all Capriotti's procedures and operational policies, cash handling, sanitation, and safety/security, to ensure the safety of all Team Members and guests during each shift.
• Assist with labor management costs.
• Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote Capriotti's values and culture.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in all areas of shop operations to assist where needed during assigned shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop and ensure proper setup and breakdown of all areas, including the dining room, restrooms, cold stations, grill, and prep areas.
• Work as a team to prepare for each shift.
• Ability to manage time effectively while meeting all job responsibilities.
• Maintains a positive work environment for Team Members and guests during each shift.
