Job summary

Marco’s Pizza in Akron, located at 2126 Eastwood Ave, is seeking energetic, goal-oriented leaders who are passionate about people and results. Join a management team that believes in serving one meal, one family, one neighborhood at a time.

You will source and interview store employees, train team members on processes, customer service, and updated policies, plan leadership meetings, and drive KPIs while maintaining quality, inventory, and store security.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience required.
• 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members.
• Willing to work ~50 hours/week, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.
• Source and interview store employees to ensure values and customer satisfaction.
• Train team members on processes, customer service, and updated policies.
• Schedule, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to home office.
• Plan leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.
• Maintain product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain inventory par levels and ordering system; complete weekly and end-of-period inventories.
• Report inventory and KPI data; implement store action plans to improve business.
• Ensure store exterior maintenance and security procedures for deposits and safe contents.

What you will bring to the role:

People

• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.

Requirements:

• 3 years of leadership experience, required
• 1 year of restaurant experience, preferred
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays
