Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group is seeking a General Manager for Marco’s Pizza to lead a high-energy team toward exceptional product quality and guest service. You will drive sales, manage costs, and oversee daily operations in a dynamic restaurant setting.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a focus on people development, and the ability to train staff while maintaining operations and compliance. A strong customer-service mindset and willingness to work weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience
• 1 year of restaurant experience (preferred)
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop people to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service
• Build sales and control costs for the restaurant
• Source and interview store employees to ensure alignment with company values
• Train team members on processes, customer service, and updated policies
• Ensure HR tasks: scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager and Shift Leads
• Maintain product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation
• Maintain appropriate inventory par levels and the ordering system
• Complete weekly and end-of-period inventory
• Create store Action Plans including marketing to improve the business
• Monitor weekly KPIs and execute plans to reach goals
• Ensure security procedures for deposits and cash handling

As the General Manager, you will lead and develop people to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales and control costs for the restaurant.

• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goalsEnsure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe

Requirements:

• 3 years of leadership experience, required
