Job summary

Marco's Pizza in Akron, OH is seeking a General Manager to lead and develop a team focused on outstanding product quality and customer service. You will drive sales, manage costs, and ensure smooth daily operations while relocating as needed to support expansion.

Requirements include 3 years of leadership, 1 year restaurant experience preferred, and the ability to lead up to 20 staff while working about 50 hours weekly including some weekends.

What you will bring to the role:

• People: Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.

• Source and interview all store employees to ensure they will embrace our values, including a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.
• Product:Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.
• Management:Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.

Requirements:

• 3 years of leadership experience, required
• 1 year of restaurant experience, preferred
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays
