Job summary

Taco Bell Corp. maintains and repairs kitchen equipment and building systems at multiple restaurant locations to ensure safety, functionality, and marketability.

The Technician handles emergencies, conducts periodic checks, and manages inventories and records to support efficient operations. Strong preference for candidates with 3–5 years in multi-unit maintenance, familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC-related tasks, and solid problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; formal trade-related training or certifications are a plus.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in multi-unit facility maintenance or equipment repair.
• Experience with restaurant equipment, electrical, plumbing and building repairs.
• Strong ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed environment and maintain productivity without supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain the designated number of restaurants to standard and safety.
• Respond to emergencies including nights and weekends to correct unsafe conditions.
• Perform periodic maintenance assessments and audits for accessibility compliance.
• Process work orders; schedule and track repairs; maintain van parts inventory and central warehouse of tools.
• Track and record completed repairs; manage parts purchases and billing in the facility tracking system.
• Grow technical skills to expand ability to maintain additional assets in the restaurant.
