Job summary

Taco Bell Corp. is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform a broad range of non-technical maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry areas.

The role supports licensed trades where needed and ensures safe, efficient operation of restaurant facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring and repairing HVAC systems, maintaining hot cooking equipment, handling plumbing upkeep, and performing general maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• High school diploma or GED; successful completion of PPD Trades Training Program and at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• HVAC - EPA certification required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, maintains, and repairs building electrical facilities and systems; assists licensed electricians with non-technical repairs.
• Monitors HVAC systems and performs non-technical maintenance and component replacements; cleans fan coil units and adjusts system controls.
• Maintains hot equipment including fryers and ovens; ensures proper care of cooking and heating equipment.
• Performs non-technical plumbing maintenance; repairs leaks, clears lines, installs water coolers, and assists plumbers.
• Performs carpentry tasks: drywall installation/repair, window and cabinet replacement, painting, and hardware installation.
• Assists in maintaining water treatment/storage systems; may perform general maintenance, custodial, and trash removal tasks.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment; documents maintenance activities and keeps records.
• May repair kitchen equipment as needed; promotes safety and environmental practices.
• Maintains records of work performed; ensures proper care of tools and equipment.
• Performs snow removal when required.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
