Bega Inc. is hiring a full-time maintenance technician for a restaurant location. The role covers HVAC/mechanical system upkeep, general repairs, and supplier coordination. Candidates should have at least five years in building maintenance and be able to work with limited supervision.

Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and comfort with Windows-based computer tasks. Franchisee operation, competitive hourly pay, and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years building maintenance experience.
• Must possess skills in at least 3 of the listed areas (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, building maintenance, small engine repair, or computer knowledge).
• Must be a team player and able to work without direct supervision.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with Windows environments and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Handyman, general repairs and maintenance work.
• Minor plumbing and minor electrical tasks.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces.
• Drywall repair/patching/caulking.
• Tile flooring repair and minor carpentry.
• Supervise subcontractors as needed.
• Assist customers in the restaurant during service.
• Purchase materials and manage a small parts inventory.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals; use supplier tech support as needed.
• Be available for on-call work beyond regular hours.
• Train new maintenance/custodial staff.
• Support restaurants during vacations for maintenance coverage.
• Experience with restaurant equipment electrical troubleshooting, welding, and plumbing is highly regarded.
