Job summary

Colliers seeks a skilled field service technician to lead preventive and reactive maintenance for commercial kitchen and building systems, ensuring uptime and safety. You will service hot-side cooking equipment, sealed-system refrigeration, and base-building HVAC, working with top brands and the Chick-fil-A TA Team on diagnostics.

Local travel within the market, on-call coverage, OEM training, and strict documentation duties are part of the role, with emphasis on safety and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Technical trade education and/or substantial field experience; 5+ years in a related trade (or equivalent).
• Depth in sealed refrigeration/HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, hot-side cooking equipment, or power transmission.
• EPA Universal Certification, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a compliant MVR.
• Ability to read schematics; proficient in Word, Excel, and mobile service apps.
• Clear communicator; independent, resourceful, and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and reactive maintenance for commercial kitchen and building systems.
• Service hot-side equipment, sealed-system refrigeration, specialty devices, and base-building HVAC.
• Hit SLA targets while responding to Operator service requests.
• Collaborate with OEMs and the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team on diagnostics and parts.
• Install parts with precision and verify performance to specification.
• Record work orders, time, receipts, and truck stock accurately and on time.
• Maintain a tidy, well-stocked service vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Rotate through on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
• Uphold safety protocols and pursue continuous OEM training/certifications.
• Meet or exceed productivity benchmarks.
