Job summary

McDonald’s Corporate Owned Store in New York seeks an experienced Restaurant Department Manager to lead shifts, ensure fast, accurate and friendly service, and oversee Training, Food Safety and Inventory Management.

You will manage Crew and Managers, help hit sales and profit goals, recruit and schedule staff, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment. Previous managerial experience in hospitality preferred; must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to train and motivate staff.
• Ability to manage shifts, departments and ensure a fast, friendly guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly shifts and department teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; set goals and delegate tasks.
• Ensure Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for best service.
• Hire qualified crew, train them well, and schedule to meet restaurant goals.
