Job summary

Ian's Pizza in Madison, WI is seeking delivery drivers to join our fast-paced team. Earn $20-$25 per hour with a guaranteed minimum and flexible shifts, plus tips and a fun, energetic work environment. You'll prepare and pack orders, load your car, and deliver pies around town.

When not on the road, you may take phone/online orders, help with cleaning and stocking, and assist in the kitchen. No experience required, though customer service helps.

Qualifications

• Must pass driver eligibility check and have a valid driver license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to tolerate allergens and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• English reading/writing/speaking with team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and load orders for delivery.
• Take phone and online orders and enter into system.
• Assist with cleaning, dishes, checklists, and stocking when not on road.
• Provide friendly customer service during deliveries.

About the Role

You'll prepare and pack up orders (including finishing, cutting pies and mixing delivery salads!), load them in your car, and zip around town.

You'll also take phone and online orders, enter them into the system, and help with cleaning, dishes, checklists, and stocking in the restaurant when you are not on the road.

No experience required, though previous delivery or customer service experience is a huge plus. We offer clear paths for growth, with ongoing training and opportunities for promotion.

What We're Looking For

• Must pass the driver eligibility check and have a valid driver license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods of time. This is an active job!
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly and to carry up to 50lbs up and down stairs, to front doors, etc.
• Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
• Comfortable using ovens, knives, and other equipment of the restaurant biz.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and delivering in variable weather conditions.
• Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).
• Able to read, write, and speak English comfortably with team and customers.

Scheduling

We're openSunday-Wednesday 11am-10pm, Thursday 11am-2am, and Friday-Saturday 11am-2:30am. Typical shift times include lunch (10/11am-5pm), dinner (4/5pm-12am), and late nights (8/10pm-4am).

Late-night shifts (8/10pm-4am) are required once per week.

The action happens on evenings and weekends! The ovens are roaring, the line's bumping, and the energy's high. We'll need you in the mix.

Part-time and full-time hours are available.
