Job summary

Sarku Japan is seeking a Project Manager to lead restaurant construction projects from pre-construction through turnover to Operations. You will coordinate with landlords, consultants, and vendors to deliver safe, on-schedule, on-budget openings and remodels.

The role requires strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and budgeting, with a track record in commercial/restaurant construction in the United States. Experience managing multi-unit projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years in commercial construction or related field.
• Experience with restaurant construction in the United States.
• Experience managing multi-unit retail construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide turnkey project management for assigned new store, remodel, relocation and acquisition conversion projects.
• Coordinate initial site surveys and prepare preliminary budgets based on available information.
• Coordinate with Sr. Design Manager and Operations as layouts are developed and approved.
• Coordinate with contractors, landlords, consultants, and AHJs throughout development and construction.
• Administer project contracts, purchase orders, and related construction documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with schedules, quality standards, and budgets.
