Velvet Taco Frisco is hiring enthusiastic Counter Servers to greet guests, take orders, and manage POS transactions with a friendly, high-energy attitude. You will support dine-in, to-go, and call-in orders while upholding Velvet Taco standards and a fun culture.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and positive attitude.
• Take orders using Velvet Taco service steps.
• Ring up dine-in, takeout, and call-in orders in the POS.
• Handle cash, card, and gift card transactions.
• Check IDs before serving alcohol as required by law.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized service area.
• Know all menu items and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain pace and contribute to a great guest experience.

Essential Functions

• Enthusiastically greets every Guest with a smile and positive attitude
• Take Guests’ order using the Velvet Taco steps of service
• Ensure dine-in, to-go and call-in orders are properly rung up in the POS
• Handle all cash, credit card and gift card transactions
• Check identification before serving alcohol according to state law
• Maintain a clean, sanitized service area
• Have full knowledge of all food & beverage menu items
• Maintain a driven, intense pace with good cleaning habits throughout shift
• Other functions as assigned by management
