Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Restaurant Busser to maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and aisles. The role supports servers, resets tables to standard, and ensures a safe, hygienic dining environment while promoting casino services and the player’s club program.

Required certifications include Food Handler’s and California beverage service training; must be 21+ and able to work varied shifts in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• RASS or TIPS alcohol awareness certification within 90 days of employment.
• California Responsible Beverage Service Training and Certification required upon hire.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1–2 years or related experience.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with energy.
• Must be physically agile to carry large serving trays.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with server on guest departure.
• Resets tables following dining standards and removes debris.
• Separates all dishware, flatware and glassware.
• Delivers and empties full bus carts to the dishing area.
• Polishes all dishware, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of service areas and surroundings.
• Acts as server assistant with table maintenance.
• Provides timely responses to guest inquiries and promotes services.
