Job summary

OHM is hiring a Part-time Restaurant Busser at the Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth, TX. You will support the dining room by clearing dishes, refilling linens, and assisting the wait staff to ensure guests receive timely service.

The role involves lifting, standing for long periods, and varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma is preferred but not required; hotel hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.
• Replaces soiled table linens and sets tables with silverware and glassware.
• Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes in dining room.
• Decorates service bar and stocks it with foods, such as soups, salads and desserts.
• Replenishes service bar with utensils and dishes.
• Serves ice water and butter to patrons.
• Cleans and polishes sneeze guards, glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers.
• Assists wait staff as needed to service guests in a timely manner.
• May run errands and deliver food orders to meeting rooms.
• May transfer food and dishes between floors using dumbwaiter.

Location:

• Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements of the Position:

• Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
• May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.

Physical Activity of the Position:
