Job summary

HRI Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Bartender for the restaurant at its Tampa property. The role supports both bar and restaurant service, ensuring accurate drink preparation and a welcoming guest experience.

The position requires knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and responsible alcohol service, with attention to cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Previous bartending experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant or high-volume bar.
• Experience working with servers and supporting table service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages for bar guests and restaurant server drink orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Greet guests, take drink orders, make recommendations, and provide welcoming service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Support servers by preparing beverages and coordinating drink delivery during meal service.
• Process guest payments, manage tabs, and handle cash accurately.
• Verify guest ID and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies.
• Clean and sanitize bar areas, glassware, equipment, and tools.
• Assist with bar opening and closing procedures.
• Address guest concerns professionally and alert management when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

The Part-Time Restaurant Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages for guests seated at the bar and in the restaurant. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant or high-volume bar.
• Experience working with servers and supporting table service preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during peak dining hours.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and applicable state laws.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
